Competition started in earnest on Friday.
Due to some inclement weather that was forecast for the cycling on Saturday the original planned crit was changed to an 11.2km time trial on road bikes.
Based on injury you are medically categorised under UCI rules. I was classified as (C6 open) based on injury which put me in competition with 25 competitors.
I managed to clatter round on borrowed bike and take home a gold medal by 21secs. A very very proud and emotional moment.
The following day we were in the pool. I swam in 6 events and mange to secure two bronze medals. 50m breaststroke and 200m mixed relay.
The games finishes on Thursday with my last 2 events including indoor rowing, followed by a closing ceremony and then fly home on Sun 5th
