Success for Coventry’s Samantha Anderson –Team Jewson–M.I.Racing–Polypipe’s top Triathlon rider—Samantha rode a rare 10 mile Time Trial near Bicester and despite near gale force conditions won with a time of 25 mins 15 secs, winning by a Large margin of over 90 seconds.
This was Samantha’s last race before she competes for Gt. Britain in the World Triathlon Championships in Canada in 1 weeks time–where she stands a very realistic chance of getting a Medal. The current European Champion and former British Champion is in really good form.
Also at Bicester, Rugby member of Team Jewson Tim Hastie finished 2nd in the men’s event with a time of 21 mins 52 secs just 8 second slower than the winner.
Chris Morris also made a rare solo appearance as his tandem partner could not ride due to illness. Morris finished an impressive 6th place. The event was held on a very open Airfield .
