Team Jewson—M.I.Racing—Thule—CNP—Kinesis—Junior Star—17 yr old Josh Teasdale, continues to amaze with yet 2 more personal best times for 25 and 10 ml Time Trials.
On Saturday afternoon–Josh competed in the Wansbeck C.C. Hilly 21 ml Time Trial at Morpeth .Northumberland–.and finished in 5th place despite loosing some time when he went wrong at one of the roundabouts, but easily took first place as fastest Junior.
Then a traveled directly down to South Wales to compete in the Acme Wheelers 25 ml Time Trial –the following morning–where he recorded a personal best time of 52 mins 14 secs to win the Junior race by almost 9 minutes.
Then just 3 days later Josh recorded his fastest ever 10 ml Time Trial on the course to be used by for the British Championships in just a few weeks time—His time was 20 mins 14 secs.
In the British Championships ,Josh will lead a very strong Team Jewson—M.I.Race Team challenge for Junior honours, including the Junior Team Championships , with team mates Hugh Carthy, and Rob Yeatman—Yeatman is currently recovering from a broken Collar Bone, from the recent Bristol 2 Day race, but hopes to fit in time for the championships.
In the Classic Beacon Mt Time Trial, in Worcestershire–held this year on a modified course due to road works, and avoiding the very tough climb of the Ankerdine.
Team Jewson’s Rugby based rider Ryan Ballard, surprised many with his brilliant 9th place——out of a field of 100 riders in a time of 1 hr 52 mins 46 secs, competing against some of the best Time Trialists in the U.K. –RYAN WAS RIDING ONLY HIS 3rd TIME TRIAL IN 22 YEARS—some performance.
Other Team members times were Tony Taylor—2-7-18, and Clive Pinfold ( Hatton ) 2-18-09.
In the Warwickshire R.C. 10 ml T.T. at Alcester—Team members–Adrian Kerby clocked 23 mins 34 secs, wife Wendy ( both Coventry ) clocked 26-05—Brian Gale ( Rugby ) –24-43—Howard Baker ( Rugby ) -25-38 and Dave Brookling –( Woodford Halse )—27-49.
Greg Ashley from Braunston who has been selected to represent Gt Britain in the World Long Distance Triathlon Champs in Las Vegas, competed in the Paris Marathon as part of his build up and recorded a personal best time of 3 hrs 16 mins.
