Recent signing Matt Denby, was in winning form at Rossington on Sunday, winning the latest round in the Lincolnshire Cyclo Cross league, Denby is only recently back to racing, following a major crash several weeks ago, in which he broke several ribs, but last week’s 6th place in the National Series race, behind Team Mate Atkins, and this result, indicate he will be back on form in time for the National championship at Bradford the 2nd week end in January.
New signing for 2013 is Local Time Trial star Tim Hastie from Rugby. Tim is one of the fastest time trialists in the area, but will include some Road Racing into his programme in 2013, at the suggestion of Team Boss Mick Ives Mick said “Tim is an excellent climber, as well as a very fast Time Trialist, and I believe he can use both of these pluss’s to good effect, in Road Races, and Tim is happy to give it a go, and will team up when ever possible with team mates like Ryan Ballard, and Mike Twelves, and is currently training with these riders.”
The Coventry based Team held its first pre season Training Ride on Sunday, with 13 riders attending, doing a none stop ride of 4 3/4 hrs out into the Cotswolds and back taking in several tough climbs. more training rides are planned early in the new year. stepping up the distance and speed.
