Team Jewson–M.I.Racing–Polypipe riders were once again to the fore front of British Cycle racing over the weekend.

Jonathan Wears continued his remarkable run of excellent form producing a very fast time in the Otley C.C. 10 mile Time Trial in Yorkshire.

Jonathan finished in 3rd position, just 4 seconds off second place, with a brilliant time of 20 mins 47 secs, despite a very strong wind, making  it far from ideal conditions.  Next weekend he will switch his attention to a 70 mile Road Race.

At Leamington Spa, Lady member Lindsey Nell kept the teams colours to the fore with 9th place in the Kenilworth Wheelers Circuit Race at Victoria Park, out of a field of 26 riders.

And her Team mate and close friend Stephanie Peters finished in 3rd place in the LVRC/VTTA Hilly Time Trial, at Welland , Worcestershire.  The course included the very tough climb of British Camp, over the Malvern Hills, and another climb between Eastnore and Holly Bush made worse by almost gale force winds.

This was the first time the LVRC and VTTA, have promoted an event together and the LVRC were the winners of the new Welland Trophy.
