When it comes to breaking records, 75 year old Mick Allen–the eldest racing member of Team Jewson–M.I.Racing –Polypipe–McCann–is becoming an expert.

Last season Mick set new records  at 10 and 25 miles, and on Saturday in the Cambridge C.C. Open 15 mile Time Trial he surprised even himself, setting a new National Age Related Record for 15 miles with an astonishing time of 35 mins 19 secs, beating the old record by a massive 53 secs and the season has only just began. He then followed his record ride with 2nd place in the 1 hour Darley Moore Circuit event near Ashbourne, beaten only by Multi World Sprint Champion Geoff Cooke, in a sprint finish to complete a brilliant Easter weekend, and more success for the Coventry based Cycling Team.

The Team have entered 7 riders for the forthcoming BMCR National Time Trial Championships, far more than any other Club/Team in the region. Entries have been received from all over the U.K.  and riders are still able to enter. The event takes place on Sunday 8th May, based at Napton organised by Team M.I.Racing. for the 17th time.
