Leamington’s super fast Veteran rider 57 year old Mark Wise continued his excellent form when he set a personal best time whilst winning the Leamington C and A C Mid Week Evening 10 mile Time Trial based on the Chesterton/Fosse Way course, recording a time of 21 minutes 50 seconds. His Team Jewson–M.I.Racing –Polypipe–McCann–7 Formation team mate 55 year old Dave Ashworth also recorded a personal best time with 24 minutes 32 seconds in only his 2nd year of racing.

Further afield Rob O’Connor was the best rider in the “Bush Health Care” 40 mile Road Race held in the Lenches area of Worcestershire. Rob was in an early break away group that was caught in the closing stages of the race and finished a close 5th in the 60+ cat, with Team Mates Malc Moore 6th in the 65+ and Mike Allen 2nd in the 70+

Top Junior member of the Team Ben Pierce finished a brilliant 9th in the latest round of the National Junior Road series The Cadence Road Race against the U.K’s top Junior riders.

Local Cyclists are reminded of the C.O.G.S. Sportive series of Charity Rides that will take place at Baginton on Sunday 29th August., Entries taken On Line and on the day, –there are 3 different distances, the shortest 10 miles and the longest 78 miles.
