Warwick Junior, Jack Fothergill, riding for Team Jewson–M.I.Racing–Polypipe–McCann–7 formation, knocked 41 secs off his his earlier best time on the Knowle / Hatton and return course, when he won the Solihull C.C. mid week 10 mile event with a brilliant time of 20 mins 22secs.
Whilst team mates Jack O’Neill recorded 23 minutes-12 seconds riding a standard Road machine for 9th fastest overall, and Alice Hall finished 2nd fastest Lady with 25-52 in a 10 mile event at Mallory Park, Leicestershire.
Leamington Veteran team member 57 year old Mark Wise finished 3rd fastest in the Road Bike class, at the Rugby Racing Open 10 mile race on Saturday, using the Dunchurch – Ryton course, with a time of 22 minutes 34 seconds and Jeff Baird also riding a standard Road Machine timed in at 25-09 – his first Time Trial for 10 years. Other times recorded by team mates riding Aero Bikes were: Greg Ashley in 22-42, Andy Jackson in 23-00, Andy Oliver in 23-14 and Dave Ashworth in 24-15. Lady team member Didi Egerton-Warburton recorded 23-46.
