Cycle Race Results – Success for Oli
19 year old Hinckley rider Oliver Searle, riding his first season with Coventry’s Elite Cycle Race Team, Team Enable–M.I.Racing–McCann, has now moved up from 4th Cat to 3rd Cat as a result of his 4th place in the recent Circuit Race at Mallory Park, which promises good for the rest of the season.
In the Coventry CC and Leamington C and A C joint promotion evening, 10 mile time trial at Princethorpe 58 year old Simon Law was the fastest rider on the night with 21 minutes 26 seconds despite a strong, cold wind. 2nd fastest was team mate Mark wise with 22-23 and 5th place Andy Jackson, 23-24. Dave Ashworth recorded 27-25 on a standard road bike for fastest in that section.
In the Rugby evening 10 mile T T Simon Law finished 2nd fastest with 21-21
In the Coventry C.C. Open 10 milw TT at Dunchurch, Andy Jackson recorded 23-13, Greg Ashley 23-33 and Zoe Shepherd, 27-27.
