'After a two week intensive training camp in France, Joe Harris returned to
triathlon with an impressive performance last weekend,' writes Mick Ives.

'Harris who is studying at Warwick University has started to play lacrosse
so has been unable to devote as much time to triathlon, however he chose the
Cotswold Sprint triathlon to test out his fitness and was pleased to finish
second in the very competitive age group, 20 - 24 years old and 27th overall
out of a field of several hundred.

The triathlon took place at Cotswold water park on September 6th on a sunny
but cold early morning with air temperatures of 8 degrees C. Harris exited
the 750m swim in 12.49, which was followed by a 20km cycle in 32.38 minutes.
He was particularly pleased with a time of 19.47 for the 5km run.

Harris is a sponsored rider for Team Jewson, MI Racing Polypipe and had
qualified for the European Age Group Triathlon Championships 2015 but was
unable to go due to exams.

Harris hopes to fit in a couple more events before returning to University.
