Team Jewson M.I.Racing Thule Cyclo Cross star, Steve Knight, once again out classed the Veteran field, this time at the final round of the Midland series for 2012/13, when he won the Wolverhampton event at Allesley Stadium, Wolverhampton on Sunday.
The course was heavy, wet and very slippery, following recent snow and rain, but this suited the style of Knight, who now has won more Cyclo Cross events in the Midlands area than any other rider,The former British Senior and Veteran Champion,is still a force to recon with despite his 46 yrs of age.
Knight brings to a close a fantastic season for the Coventry based team, who have won over 30 races since October 2012.
Further north team member Matt Denby finished 2nd in the Whitby Wh. Cyclo Cross in North Yorkshirehere again the course was very muddy and slippery following recent snow.
Several New Riders and New Sponsors have been added to the M.I.Race Team for 2013, and Team Director Mick Ives, will announce these very soon.
