In the Ladies race Martine Verweij (Stratford) finished 2nd, and in the Senior Veteran race (50+) Time Stowe (Wellesbourne) finished 2nd,

Down in Haverfordwest in S.Wales, Jewson rider Mark James continued to dominate the Welsh Veteran Cyclo Cross series, finishing 1st Veteran and 5th overall .

And at Hillingdon, Pete Smith finished 2nd after being outsprinted by National Champion Mike Bell, in Rd 1 of the Central Cyclo Cross series.

Switching from a very successful Road Racing season, Hinckley’s Mike Twelves, proved that he can also turn out a brilliant Time Trial, when he recorded 22 mins 23 secs in the Coventry Road Club, open 10 mile Time Trial held in very blustery conditions, In 2 weeks time Twelves take part in the LVRC National Time Trial Championships at Napton, sponsored by Jewson and organised by M.I.Racing along with several other members of the Team.

All in all a remarkable weekends racing for the Coventry based Team
